Minimally Invasive Surgery and Key Topics in Gynecologic Oncology - Avançado
2nd edition (July 31 to August 2, 2025)
With an active methodology for better absorption of content, students undergo intensive days of training with presentation of live procedures of minimally invasive surgical techniques, carried out at the Hospital de Amor de Barretos, anatomy, discussion of cases and videos, tips and tricks suturing and diagnostic and therapeutic updates.
The practice takes place in an experimental laboratory using simulators, living tissue or cadavers, in which students have the opportunity to apply surgical techniques with the most advanced technology, under the guidance of great specialists giving immediate feedback, thus returning to their services with greater safety in carrying out complex cases.
Discover the dynamics of the course:
- Live broadcast of gynecological oncological surgical procedures with debate between teachers and students, highlighting specificities of laparoscopic and robotic surgeries;
- Open discussion for direct interaction of participants, promoting questions and sharing of experiences from renowned national and international specialists in gynecological oncology.
- Exhibition of clinical cases and surgical videos to illustrate the application of minimally invasive surgical techniques in gynecological oncology in different situations.
- Analysis and debate of recent clinical trials that influence current clinical practices;
- Practical training in suturing techniques on models and laparoscopic gynecological techniques on living tissue (animal model) or cadavers under the guidance of a team of experts, with immediate feedback.
- Use of high-technology surgical equipment, including laparoscopic set and advanced energy;
